"Pregnancy...birth....parenting...
it doens't change you, it reveals you."
Inspired by the beautiful, peaceful hospital birth of her first daughter in 1996, Amy Jones found her calling and began teaching childbirth education classes independently and attending births as a doula in 1997.
In the years that followed Amy and her husband would go on to have 4 more children, as Amy attended countless more births. Having seen births unfold peacefully in all settings and circumstances, she focused on spreading the word about the different elements required to acheive the peaceful birth experience parents universally dream of.
She is trained in many of the holistic arts, such as herbs, energy work, and essential oils, which she incorporates into her birth practice. In 2010 she wrote The Way of the Peaceful Birther and began offering her childbirth classes online (Birthologie.com) in addition to her in person childbirth education classes and services.
A Las Vegas native, Amy now resides in Northern Utah with her 5 homeschooled children and one brave husband. In her spare 5 minutes of the day at midnight she likes to take long walks on the sidewalk, google herself, and underwater basket weave.
